Ride to Remember 9-11

To remember our brothers and sisters of New York city, and all who lost their lives September 11, 2001.

• Motorcade Procession to the State Capital grounds, Police & Fire Fighters Memorial Site from Halls Harley Davidson, lineup starts at 8:00am. (Dirksen Parkway and Sangamon, Springfield, IL, Exit 100B off of Interstate 55)
• Ceremony begins at 10:00am
• The Illinois State Troopers, F.O.P. Lodge, Springfield is hosting an "All you can eat" BBQ Saturday, September 13 at 5:00pm
• There are special room rates of $66/night at the following hotels - must mention Ride to Remember 911

Ideas for more rides

Some of the following rides have this idea - Ride out Saturday morning and either ride back the same day or stay overnight.  Also, we will be looking to take more scenic routes, staying off the highways.
